Chicken liver puree

Great for dairy free babies who are underweight. I know that liver sounds yuck to most of us, but I’ve tried this and actually it’s not bad – a bit like pate. High in iron too.

100g chicken liver
8 dried apricots
1 slice white bread (calcium enriched if you can get it)
oat milk

fry up the chicken livers in oil until they’re just done. Meanwhile chop the apricots and cook them up in some water until they’re squidgy. Liquidise them. Then soak a slice of bread in the oat milk (just enough to soften it), add to the apricots, add in the liver and blend.
