As long as your child is getting adequate levels of necessary nutrients for growth and development, a vegetarian diet can often be the healthiest, with the lowest fat and highest vitamin and mineral content. And even if you and your children aren’t vegetarians, it’s good for you, and the environment, to go without meat once in a while.
